2022 Chardonnay - $30
This is the third vintage of Northburn Chardonnay off the new site. The 2022 vintage was excellent for chardonnay. The fruit was harvested very clean, well balanced, fully ripe and with good varietal definition. Approximately 70% of the wine was matured in a once used 114 litre Damy oak barel for 5 months. There is a distinct but delicate oak character to the wine. The wine is dry, fresh and full bodied.
